IELTS Writing Tutorial Part3
Task 2 – Essay Question:
This task is an essay question. You will have to write a response to the given question giving reasons and examples to support your answer.
In this task, you shall be asked to write an essay.
The question will be something like:
Elaborate the given statement.
You will be given the maximum of 40 minutes.
You shall require a minimum of 250 words and the maximum words are 325. I advise you to write down somewhere around 300 words to achieve good scoring.
Each Para starts with a topic sentence that clearly relates to the question each para must contain a sentence relating to the question
Paragraph development Each park is developed with explanations and examples of the topic sentence. Also, you can reason it. Why that example is given you have to explain. You have to give enough detailed information and facts.
Next, is Connecting words, make sure the connecting words you use are accurate. Do not overuse connecting words. Instead of ending a sentence where required, we keep on adding “and”all the time and we prolong the sentence
Wherever needed just end the sentence. Make it seem we have spoken something very clearly in short Answering the question, this should be done at the planning stage.
Introduction check that your introduction addresses all parts of your question. If your question says summarize the report, make a comparison or give examples, then make sure to cover all of them.
Conclusion check that your conclusion gives an answer to the question, what it means and interpretation.
